Download the plugin for your blog platform here and activate it.

Once activated a pop up will open and you will be asked to register to Apture in order to use the plugin. Do it. It not requires email validation so it is very fast. Now you’re set and ready to use Apture as a link service or as a widget.

Want an example? I have installed the plugin and started this post using Wordpress. I want to embed additional informations about Wordpress and add the info to the text WORDPRESS at the bottom of this post . Two Apture icons appeared in my editor bar

The left one is for links, the second one for embedding. I will choose “Add Apture Link”. Now I will set which type of media I want to link:

I’ve  typed “wordpress” into the search box and than click on “reference article”. This screen showed up:

As you can see Apture is listing several proposal of references. I’ll go for the most “academic” one so I’ll choose Wikipedia. Want to see the final result?
