Among the new software and hardware offerings Apple announced on Monday, the company also put forth a list of automakers who will partner with Cupertino to tie their cars to an advanced version of Apple’s Siri virtual personal assistant, a new version of which will be released with iOS 6. The roster of carmakers includes Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Toyota.
