Watch A Clip Of RapFix Live Featuring Stevie J And Mona Scott Young, Who Promises Love And Hip Hop Is Not Scripted

by Blog Burger on July 20, 2012

Stevie J and Love And Hip Hop producer Mona Scott Young appeared on MTV’s RapFix Live yesterday, and in the clip above, you can watch our favorite part, an old MTV News clip where Stevie drapes himself across Mariah Carey, P. Diddy, and MTV News reporter Tabitha Soren to be a part of their interview. At one point Mariah calls Stevie her big brother and the whole thing is just a little weird, but also amazing. “I like that old footage right there, brought back some great memories,” Stevie told RapFix host Sway before admitting that his good pal P. Diddy is a huge fan of Love And Hip Hop.

Below, Mona Scott Young discusses the controversial Atlanta season of the show and denies that there’s anything scripted about what you’ve been watching and whether or not the show is exploitative. “I do think that it a valid question,” Mona tells Sway. “I get that a lot but I do think that people see what they want to see…When I hear that the show is fake and the show is scripted, it almost negates their very lives.”
