It didn’t take half that time for Shelton to decide that he had made a mistake. He “opened back up his recruiting process” in July, just before his senior year at Plantation. Shelton, a two-time Sun Sentinel Super 11 selection, is one of many examples of high-profile players with commitment problems. Six of the 22 players selected for the Palm Beach and Broward County Super 11 teams have either de-committed or announced that they’ve opened their recruitment.
