Report: Pop star arrested in UK abuse case

Disgraced British glam rocker Gary Glitter enters the People's Supreme Court in Ho Chi Minh City in June 2006. British police on Sunday arrested Glitter on suspicion of sexual offences as they probe a mountain of child sex abuse allegations against late TV star Jimmy Savile. British police arrested convicted sex offender and former pop star Gary Glitter on Sunday as part of an investigation into allegations of child sex abuse by the late BBC presenter Jimmy Savile, media said.
