Russian Navy Vessels Arrive In The Philippines For Four Day Training Visit

Russian guided missile cruiser, Varyag and fuel tanker ship, Pechenge docked in the Philippines Thursday to take part in joint Navy exercises, Reuters reported. The warships will be in the Philippines, their second stop in three months, for four days, said the report. The collaboration with Russia was described by Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte as the pursuit of an “independent foreign policy,” the report said.
